Pergilah Bawa Rahasiamu

I found this song on the way home yesterday,
and I'm pretty much experiencing what Sherina trying to say with her song

however I'm too weak, didn't have enough strength with the willing to ask him go,
Please go and never look back!

A hand-made carpet tell you thousand stories

Last evening, with a friend-we went to Fatmawati. We were looking for budget carpets. Unfortunately we were entering a high-end carpet store, Al-Fateh near Dikdasmen office. Luckily the owner-his name is Manzoor, a Pakistanian-was very nice to us.

Finally we decided to buy a 2m2 carpet with minimalist patern cost IDR 900,000 each. A good deal for medium-end carpet :). The owner told us that the carpet is made in Afghan.

Then thousand stories goes as he showed us his hand-made silk carpet collections that is very fancy, sooooo soft like cotton candy, and highly detail in pattern and design. He told us, it will need a year in minimum to produce a 2m2 hand-made silk carpet. Thus the price is also amazing, hundred millions something Rupiah, wow!!

The collections is produced in several middle-east countries. I was amazed and deeply thought about it.

Hundreds household, they can be a mother, father, a sister, brother, son, or daughter faraway there in the middle east and in conflict areas might pouring their energy, their sweat and tears on a piece of carpet which I early thought meaningless.

After two hours of discussion with pak Manzoor, we were saying good bye and he told us "we are muslim, we are brothers, thank you for stopped by, please come back". He was offering a free package of after sales service. Nice!

Yes, I should thankful for that one eye-opened moment.
